Growing up in South Florida, Dr. Jacobs slowly made her way to Utah obtaining many warm clothes along the way. She attended college in Atlanta, Georgia at Emory University where she graduated with a major in psychology and minor in sociology.  Dr. Jacobs then moved north to Cincinnati, Ohio where she completed her doctoral work at Xavier University.  This included a year of a pre-doctoral internship in Salt Lake City at the University of Utah Neuropsychiatric Institute.  Dr. Jacobs returned south to complete a post-doctoral year in Durham, North Carolina at a private practice where she focused on clinical work and psychoeducational and neuropsychological testing.  Having fallen in love with Utah, she returned and completed a fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology at Wasatch Pediatric Neuropsychology.   Since then, Dr. Jacobs has practiced independently specializing in neuropsychological, psychological, and psychoeducational evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults.
